Just like it says folk, only printing here

I frequently download etexts: do the necessary formatting, imposition, printing and binding thereby adding books to my library. Laser printers are great for this work save in one respect: they distort grain short paper. Inkjet printers do not do this so I am consisdering buying one. Price doesn't matter. Does anyone have experience with printing many pages of etexts using an inkjet printer? If so could they recommend a printer with duplexing capability - manual or auto - capable of doing the job. My web based research has yielded nothing but conflicting and confusing results.
