The Dover reprint is good enough, I like the book specially for the history of bookbinding.

This Edith Diehl book was the first paperback I rebound in 3/4 leather.

Perhaps it's showing it's age, but I think it's quite clumsily worded, and quite long-winded in it's descriptions, and could be organised a lot better in terms of flow and logical progression.
