Boards for Hardcover Binding

Postby benjaminh on Fri Oct 31, 2014 10:25 pm

Hello Everyone,
What do you think about using quality baltic birch 1/8" plywood for the boards of a hardcover book?
I would think that it would be suitable because of the crosswise grain layers.

any opinions?

It should work fine. I've used both birch and walnut plys before and was very satisfied with both.
