Press & Plow

I built this press and plow based on Manly Banister's design in his book, "The Craft of Bookbinding." Instead of using all-thread (Redi-bolt) for the screws I used a Veritas twin-screw vice. The jaws are oak and measure 4" x 6" x 24

Cutting threads into hardwood dowels proved to be an interesting challenge but despite the professional-looking results I'm sure there is a better way to adjust the height of the top bar.
